The Africa DJ Expo Trade Show is open to innovative businesses and organizations in the following categories: DJ/Producer gear, international delegations, startups, content creators, marketing, manufacturing, design and innovation, hardware and software, Creative arts funding programs, social impact, online media, artist services, and music streaming technology.

The ADJE Next Rated showcases DJing culture in a unique atmosphere of exploration and discovery. Featuring interactive exhibits from unpopular but skillful DJs and highlights like the Discovery Stage and Turntable Experience, the Next Rated offers a deep dive into DJ discovery. These sessions showcase the inventive, emerging talent participating at Africa DJ Expo, including cross-industry panels with diverse speakers.

Please take a minute to reference the Music Showcase FAQ for answers to common questions. The fee for an application completed by July 15, 2020 (11:59pm CAT) is $30. After June 15, 2020, the application fee increases to $50. The final deadline to apply is July 10, 2020 (11:59pm CAT). You will be charged the rate listed at the time of final submission. All applicants will be notified of their status on or before July 24, 2020. Africa DJ Expo is not able to issue any refunds.

DJs
Solo acts and/or full bands
DJs/Artists from any part of the world
Invited Artists are guaranteed at least one showcase slot:
Showcase slots run an average of 40 minutes (some exceptions may apply)
Slots will be scheduled September 30-October 2, 2020 generally between 7pm-2am (exceptions do apply)
Venue, time and date assignment will vary
Please note: Africa DJ Expo does not provide artist backline or cover travel and accommodation expenses.
